That’s why we’re proud sponsors of the Poway Girls Softball League (PGSL). As a non-profit organization, PGSL is completely operated by volunteers. It strives to help girls ages 5 through 18 develop self-confidence while promoting good sportsmanship and fostering important fundamental skills they’ll carry with them throughout their lives.
PGSL has operated since 1967 and is registered as a Class B league with the Amateur Softball Association, the nation’s preeminent softball organization. PGSL is funded entirely by registration fees, concession sales, and community sponsorships. It uses its resources to supply girls with most of the equipment they need to play softball and provides fee waivers for girls requiring financial assistance.
